At Hilti we offer onsite testing to determine the strength of the materials supporting anchors and modular support systems.

Sometimes you can’t know about the resistance of key materials onsite, particularly if you’re working with existing concrete, natural stone, refractory stone, porous materials or wood.

And there may be no information available on the maximum load that they can carry and the maximum load, which can be assigned to an anchor.

So at Hilti we can carry out tensile tests to find the strength of the key base materials.

HOW WE CARRY OUT OUR ONSITE TESTS

Our Hilti engineers are highly qualified and we regularly calibrate our testing equipment.

We work closely together with our customers onsite and test anchors according to the load that’s needed for the installation.

We provide a test report when we’ve finished, with test data and result.

Our onsite testing helps to:

  • Check the structural strength of the anchoring system or base material.
  • We carry out onsite tests with regularly calibrated test equipment and by experienced Hilti engineers.
